Adeptus Minneapolis was founded in June 2002 by Kevin Frey, Steve Poeschl Sr. and James Reijo to respond to a real-world issue that, sooner or latter, affects every gamer: work and family eventually become more important than rolling dice to see if you make your armor save. Despite adulthood, the founders are passionate Warhammer players, so when they do have time to game it should be the best gaming possible with the best players possible. Adeptus Minneapolis responded to this problem with a simple mission: find the best players in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and give them a resource to connect with, and game with, one another. This mission has led Adeptus Minneapolis to create a community for tactical improvement, painting technique and--most importantly--fellowship with other hobbyists.

 

On our message boards or at our monthly meetings games can be scheduled, rules questions can be answered, or painting/modeling tips can be given quickly and by people with a very low "BS" factor. Everyone in Adeptus Minneapolis wants to make sure their precious spare hobby time is used in the best way possible. We achieve that by creating an atmosphere dedicated to the enjoyment of the hobby. No one wants to spend three hours arguing over rules, we want to have a great time playing. Period.
